Re: slave raider
That was just.... just awful!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
Re: slave raider
Awful is just the beginning. This is NOT a Vinnie tune. Unfortunately.

Re: slave raider
I guess it was a solid enough tune. I don't believe the tune or schtick was Major Recording Label worthy though.

Re: slave raider
I've always liked Slave Raider quite a bit, good tunes. One of my best friends is from MN and knows a couple of the guys personally, hung out with em a few times.
Re: slave raider
Yes I think with better producer and bigger recording budget they could have made some waves in usa but just a bit too week all around.

Re: slave raider
This is true. I think another problem has a lot to do with the fact that they missed the initial glam explosion, and they had more of an edge than most bands. Not to mention, they were really over the top. By the time they were really gaining steam on a national level, the musical tides were changing. Youngblood is still one of my favorite songs from that era though.
