Mark Slaughter on Eddie Trunk

Post by poserboy71 »

He did do the Donald Duck voice from ASG at the 13:30 mark.

Small mention of Vinnie at the 16:20 mark.

As for Mark finding his voice again... :?: :?: :?: :?:

I hate to be a pundit, but he needs to get in shape. He looks soft and he doesn't sound well, even worse from when I saw him perform a few years ago.

The song is so hard to recognise in the first clip.

Why do Paul and Mark do this to themselves?

I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Holy shit... that first Slaughter clip is... ghastly. Mark and Dana's instruments aren't even in tune.

I was never a Slaughter fan anyway but... damn.

Yep, complete crap can still sell a lot of records... I think that is proven with what's in the charts today.

It only serves to highlight how bad the first one is.

Like listening to Alive 3 and a current Kiss show.

Alive 3 really sounds tight to me for a live album. Bruce is not my favorite guitarist but he truly is a cool dude. He is especially likable in the recent guitar magazine audio interview about all the Kiss Guitarists. He really tries to take the high road but he is fair in his evaluations

Yes Ace that's is why both sound so tight all the touch up recordings and fixes. I love both the albums that you mention and did you know that according to Eddie Kramer Kiss Alive 1 and 2 were heavily modified in the studio too?

i sure did. both are obviously overdubbed or fixed in the studio because of peter's drumming during the solos. no fuckin way can he do all that at the same time with 2 arms.

thats why i treasure my concert instant live recordings. TRUE live shows.

Actually, I n 1975 Peter was a double stroking, hard hitting,MOTHERFUCKER on the drums. They have always stated that the drums were the only things on those live albums that weren't touched up. I believe that Peter said it again on his recent episode of TMS.
There may be a little delay for ghost notes, etc... ????
I have noticed little things like that on Aerosmith albums.

Plus, Flangers on a drum set are a lost art.
