Def Leppard & Taylor Swift

Post by ozone73 »

I was bored, just putzing around YouTube and somehow stumbled upon some videos of Def Leppard and Taylor Swift doing a show together. I wanted to hate it but I really didn't think it was too bad.

Oh yeah, they totally kick ass on the CMC Crossroads show, like, totally. Soooo good.

They did a song at the awards show and it was pretty bad I felt. Not sure what went wrong on that one. It just seemed lame.

But on Crossroads, awesome.

I've never watched an entire video of this because the thought of a recent Def Leppard live show with Taylor Swift seems excruciatingly boring and won't hold my attention for more than 30 seconds. But, this isn't half bad. Joe's voice isn't as bad as I expected either.

I still love the old Def Leppard stuff. High & Dry is one of my all time favorites...they kind of lost me after Hysteria. I love the Pete Willis stuff......The old stuff had an almost AC/DC feel to it. Much more raw.....

i never was into them because they were played to death in the late 80s but what i have listened to of their pre-hysteria days I think is surprisingly good.
