That was pretty cool. Kiss do virtually nothing these days compared to other acts.

They are lazy and are not the greatest show around. Not even close.

That is what I've been saying. Their idea of a "great new set" is making it 10-feet wider and adding 20 more video screens and more fireworks. If anyone in the world should be doing these kind of cool, visually exciting effects it should be KISS. I'd say they actually do less now than they were doing back on the REVENGE tour.

Boring set. Boring effects. Same old song list. I am not motivated to see "THE TOUR". I've thought about it because I think my son would enjoy it, but I can't afford good enough seats to make it worth my while. I'll wait until they release the tour video.

Maybe Peter shouldn't have sold his make up rights back to KISS.
That would've solved his bitching and moaning.

i love Peter but I think he is off track these days. Wish he could put out some good music but I can not see it happening, at least he does put it out though.

Sad to say but I would rather no output from Peter than more of the last album!

I agree.
1) TOTALLY his own fault for selling the rights for what? A couple hundred grand?
2) If Peter puts out another CD, I'll buy it. But if it's like his last CD, I will listen to it once and put it on the KISS shelf of CDs and never listen to that shit again.

Number 2 is what I did with his last one, it wasn't even worth one listen really. I bought the signed version for a good price so yes, it got added to the Kiss collection.

No, haven't listened to my copy of that either, I think I got it on tape and CD in some special pack.

Peter released an album about two years ago, it's terrible.

The worst part is, with a real producer a few of those songs had potential. Those off-pitch vocals are brutal and the bland arrangements and playing keep the songs from taking off.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_for_Al ... iss_album)

It's hard to describe exactly what this album is or was trying to be. It's like 60's big band music...except it's a rock band backing him up instead of a big band. They are trying to play like AOR soft rock artists, but it doesn't feel like the musicians picked really know how to make that happen.

And the worst part is Peter's vocals. He is oddly off pitch on almost every song almost all the way through. So much so that when he IS on pitch it is...startling. As the KISS member often sighted as having the best voice for rock songs, he shows on this album that he does not deserve the title.

Buy it if you are a KISS completist. I sort of am...was...but as I get older I find I have less desire to pay extra money for stuff I will not listen to and ESPECIALLY for extraneous re-packagings like the dozen BEST OF or GREATEST items that the record company puts out yearly.
