Foxy Shazam

Post by poserboy71 »

I really like this band. They are one of the few newer acts that I like.
I am actually VERY EXCITED to see them when they play next week in Youngstown.
I have no burning desire to see Kiss, Aerosmith, etc... anymore.
I almost gave up and have been bumming hard that nothing excites me anymore.
They have the "WTF?" factor that I love.

you might dig these guys too, ghostland observatory. they are kinda along the same lines as foxy shazam... the singer's voice in GO is kinda grating after awhile though:

I appreciate bands like this. A bit too techno for me but I dig the presentation and talent. Capes are cool.
I will definitely check this band out and explore their catalog a bit. THANKS. :D

Too much wild, not enough feeling for my taste. But they play well.

You must explore their catalog . The lead singer sings about his family a lot. That pulls me in even further.
The entire band puts 1000% into their performance.
DARE I SAY that they gave --BY FAR --THE BEST band performance I have ever witnessed in the flesh. I wish I could describe it for everyone but it wouldn't do them justice.
My jaw was on the floor the entire show and I was literally in tears because of how good they are.
I couldn't believe that any of them could function after the show. They were incredibly nice guys as well.
You get so inspired that you don't know whether to practice or just quit.

Foxy Shazam has actually sparked my inspiration. It has been really tough to watch all of my favorites diminish. The only classic band that can still deliver on album and tour is Cheap Trick. Aerosmith albums stink even though they still sound good live. Kiss have had some promising recordings in the past few years but...

Please trust me on this. If they are in your area. Go see Foxy Shazam NOW before they break big.

They deserve a big stage.

Here is an interview that a few members of Foxy Shazam did at the Newport Theater in Columbus ,Ohio a few days ago. http://www.kidsinterviewbands.com/video/foxy-shazam/

If you use your extra sensory perception, you can summon the cool vibes and mojo from Vinnie and the boys from those bricks. This is the side of the building where I first met Vinnie. The ghosts of the past still lurk and they make me happy.

Suck up some mojo. Get back, JOJO !!!!

Eric Nally from Foxy Shazam. The best modern frontman there is. I expected a great performance and got one. I knew the guys were down to Earth and humble. The thing that really sticks with me is, at the end of the night, every band member is helping each other pack up their gear and get it into the trailor. I have seen many local lead singers just walk off the stage and out the door when the last note sounds. I LOVE SEEING A MUSICAL BROTHERHOOD ALA Foxy Shazam ,that has deep roots in friendship.
