Somehow I don't really care that this vid doesn't show the band: One of my faves from the Summer of '87:

Y&T - Rhythm or Not:
Re: Y&T - Rhythm or Not:
I know Y&T get a lot of love for a band that never really broke huge, but I never got into them. They were clearly a talented group. I can dig Summertime Girls. Their songs never quite had that elusive element that made them classic. Really good, not "great".
Open your window and see the real world
To know what you've been missing
Come out of the shadows
Insecurity lies
In a heart afraid to listen

Come out of the shadows
Insecurity lies

Yes indeed!!!Slayer wrote:Dave Meneketti = Great singer and guitar player to me
This was a bit of a nothing song though. Don't tell Freddy I said that!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!

Love this song and the album it came off of.
