Akira Kajiyama

Post by Vickie »

Great that we got a place here to talk about other musicians.

I would like to talk about the guitarist Akira Kajiyama.
I know him only from his working with Joe Lynn Turner. In 2005 they did a great Album together “Fire without flame”. I thought after that we would hear more from this guy but nothing happened.
Wikipedia says that he´s very famous in Japan but the information on Wikipedia is poor.
His official website is only available in japanese.
Does someone of you know this guy?

I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Yngwie with a humbucker!

Not that that's a bad thing!!!!!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains! :(

Thanks for the youtube video metatron.
Isn´t he great guys?
It´s too bad that there isn´t more stuff from him available.
Seems only Joe Lynn Turner can appreciate his talent outside of Japan.
By the way also Joe Lynn Turner is brilliant on "Fire without flame". I guess he´s one of the best hardrock singers.

he's great and I like Turner. I saw Turner so many times on the Ynqwie tour. One time they seemed to be having a big fight. After hearing that airplane fight with passengers and crew I no longer care for Yngwie.

I had only one time the chance to see Yngwie, on his Eclipse tour.
Yes, I think he can be eccentric but his playing is so fascinating. I really love his special style. Also his accoustic playing is amazing.
I don´t like the singer Tim Owens on Yngwies last two albums so much but they are great although.

Doublev, Joe Lynn Turner was involved in a project named Brazen Abbot which was formed by the guitarist Nikolo Kotzev. Really great music. Check it out if you don´t know it.
