While it is cool that there is a Kiss cameo, it comes across forced and unfunny in an otherwise incredibly funny movie.

It most likely had to be 1984 and they wanted to use creatures of the night in stead of lick it up. I am certain they knew the date was wrong.

In fact they may have used creatures because they could be concerned vv could actually try to sue for saying the words of a song be wrote as remote as it would be possible with vv he would certain look into it
