Re: Vinnie on shirt actually in KISS, haha
Here the facts from the Meet & Greet:
They all are very smart and talked a lot with me. On the acoustic set, I had my Vinnie Vincent shirt on without my leather jacket. Paul came in, looked at me and smiled. Tommy to me: "You're not a Tommy fan" and laughed. Gene to him: " Vinnie played a lot better than you" The whole band and audience laughed together. That was so great !!!
After they played two songs, Paul asked what he could play and looked at me. I said "All hells brakin' loose". Eric played straight on and Paul do the first rap of All Heels Braking Loose. Tommy has no Idea of the riff and Gene to the band: Only one time in my life, I will work with pros ! All laughed again.
After the acoustic set Eric came to me and talked about his parents who are from Germany, asked me if I'm playing guitar too like Vinnie and that he had a hard time in the moment.
Gene came a few moments after him to me looked at me and the Vinnie shirt and said: he was (!) a talented guy. I answered that I'm a member of the Vinnie Vincent Fan Forum and a great KISS fan since 1978. And he wanted to know what my favorite KISS album is and answered himself: Lick it up - laughing -
Paul was also smart and talked about his mother and her childhood in Germany and than came Tommy.
Tommy was sooooo smart and nice, unbelievable !! We talked about Black'N'Blue and his beginning as a guitar player and he said that Vinnie has done a good job.
The Meet and Greet was one of the greatest moments in my life. And the four guys are cool and nice to all the fans!

Great story! I feel some regrets : I could have gone to Zurich, not too far away from where I live (150-200 km). On the pics, it didn't seem too crowdy, I hope the price wasn't too high for the meet and greet...
Just a few days before, AC DC played at the same place. Well...

The price was the same like Germany: 1200 Euros!
Only 7000 fans! AC/DC played two times for about 14000 fans per night!

Thanks for sharing Wolfie, somehow they still love Vinnie

Yeah, AC/DC kill in concert attendance, as do Bon Jovi.
Great story, I think it was Tommy who wanted Kiss to play All Hell's Breaking Loose during the unplugged show on the Kruise last year, I remember it being mentioned.

Atta boy, Wolfi !!!!
They see and hear enough fans like you (and us) and they realize that Vinnie deserved better than he got.
They have all been quite gracious when Vinnie is brought up.
The true HATRED seems to be between Paul and Peter.
Paul seems more disappointed in Ace than actually hating him.
We can only imagine how Kiss would still be a contender instead of a pretender if Vinnie contributed to at least a few more albums.

Contender, not pretender, I like that, it totally works.
Of course Paul can't sing anything from LIU worth a damn, but could Vinnie play it?

Re: Vinnie on shirt actually in KISS, haha
great, kiss are good guys, thats one reason why i liked them. great about vinnie too. they love vinnie like us. too bad vv doesnt like any of us.
forgot to mention maybe ask paul if he did record back on the streets, slipped my mind.
as for attendence they are dropping away. Kiss can not even get a headlining tour of the uk. I think its been a very long time.
