Who amongs us is also an actual Kiss fan, the band that made Vinnie instantly famous?

They ruined me just as much as Vinnie has. The C.O.T.N. tour will forever be a great memory for me as it was my first concert. The 2010 tour means more because I saw my kiddies get rocked at their first concert from the front row.

Kiss has brought me much happiness. Vinnie has too. :D :D :D

My first KISS concert was the Lick it up tour 1983 in Siindelfingen Germany.
I saw Vinnie the first time without make up that was just amazing for me !
I'm a big fan since 1979. But KISS was it's best from 1982-1984. For me the Carnival Of Souls album was also a real killer album. The best album of KISS with Lick It Up for me.

Now I can't hear and see the old song list on the KISS concerts anymore...
A little fresh air would be great...

I can't remember when i saw them.
But it was at the Syd Entertainment Centre.

Unfortunately they spent the whole time playing up to professional cameras and i really didn't enjoy it at all

Everyone was on their feet yelling on the 1st song.
Just standing on the 2nd.
By the 3rd all sitting and a bit bored.
I was there with my girldriend at the time, and i kid you not, she fell asleep!

So with zero crowd connection, made for a lousy concert.
Oh well, you win some you lose some.

Was that a makeup show?

They played in 95 and 97 at the Entertainment Centre, and the shows after that were at Homebush.

I never saw them play up for cameras, but I only went to one show in 2001 of the two they did in Sydney.

After the first reunion tour I wasn't as keen to see multiple shows again.

No makeup but can't remember which year.
I'm useless when it comes to dates.

C.O.S. is very good. A very honest record lyrically. They are confused and admit it.

Voted yes but, was a big fan till they treated a few fans that waited 2 hours to see them like crap. Gene admittedly signed a few things but Peter was a complete A-hole and Paul virtually signed nothing either! Ace was high but I got to shake his left hand!!! Still listen to some of the stuff and thought that Sonic Boom was ok but have trouble listening to it because of Ace's........... sorry, Thayer's solos! All Peter's solo stuff is garbage and Ace should retire! Rock Soldiers, Second Sighting and Trouble Walking had some nice stuff but Anomaly is dog snot! Nothing tops VVI 1 & 2 for Kiss related releases!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains! :(

Yes, Vinnie has the only solid and consistent solo releases outside of Kiss.

And like Ace and Peter have done recently, put out something new for us to check out. Then we can make sure his "best ex Kiss" status is assured.

I really didn't get into Kiss until I saw a promo shot of Vinnie in make up and heard his guitar solo from a live clip, totally blew me away. Before that, I was really only marginally interested in Kiss' music, it was mainly the image I was into when I was a kid, but I enjoy the majority of their catalog.

Ha ha, good one. Yes, this and the other Vinnie forums of the past are where you can get a dose of soapy opera to help keep you clean and in good voice.
