Re: Remembering Eric Carr
for some reason it still doesn't seem real. Such a sad age to go. Could only imagine what he would have done afterwards. An Eric solo album produced and co written by Vinnie would have been a dream.
Bye Bye
Re: Remembering Eric Carr
I still believe Carr would've been involved in the makeup reunion had he lived... Gene knew it would've been easier to just deal with Ace instead of Ace AND Peter. Plus the fans loved Carr/the Fox.
Either that or Carr would've gotten fed up with Paul and left in '91. Supposedly they weren't on speaking terms during the HITS tour.

Re: Remembering Eric Carr
Eric blamed Paul for the removal of his drum solo, it wasn't a good time.

Re: Remembering Eric Carr
I remember being pissed off at the time because all the media could talk about was Freddy Mercury dying (super genius though he is)!!!!
Guess Eric's death wasn't "Hollywood" enough (AIDS)! Yeah I know, it looks bad how I wrote that!

Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
Re: Remembering Eric Carr
His Hot in the Shade drum solo was epic
Re: Remembering Eric Carr
Yes, it was. You can imagine he'd be bummed about it being dropped.
