The think that Gene and Eric's voices sounded great but sadly Paul's Voice is finished. He sounded OK singing the national anthem recently but his once great voice that had such power and range on Crazy Nights is a thing of the past. Surgery has been completely ineffective at repairing the damage done. :-( I think that as far as playing their instruments that Eric, Gene and Paul are playing better than ever but nice guy but no individual style Tommy Thayer is awful once again aping Ace Frehley Licks from 1977. I wish this guy at some point would play something heartfelt and current as well as unique. Tommy is truly a disappointment for his complete lack of contribution in taking these songs into the 21st Century. How I miss Vinnie and the magic that he would have provided on a great song like The Oath. The fact that Tommy "Tosses Ace's Salad" on every song and the fact that Paul can no longer sing is such a sad thing to see. I really enjoyed seeing them play some of these uncommon songs but let's say the truth in that Gene, Eric and Tommy should be handling all the vocals at this stage with Paul singing maybe 2 songs that are in a very limited octave range.

The good and the bad and the once great front man Paul Stanley has become the weakest link :-(

The second "The Oath" wasn't too bad at all. Paul only had a wobbly moment in the post solo bridge section! Nice to hear the song live though.
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains! :(

For me the best kiss albums are in no order.
Ace Frehley 1978
Dynasty 1979
The Elder 1981
Creatures 1982
Lick it up 1983

Runners up are

Kiss 1974
Dressed 1975
Alive 2 studio
Paul stanley 1978
Killers studio

But all lps have something.
Bye Bye

I wish they would play Down on Your Knees live. If Ace were there they would have had 2000 Man and Rocket Ride..
