Apparently, KISS played a private show at John Varvatos in makeup and suits in DUMBO, Brooklyn - New York.

Tony Mann reports: "I saw Kiss on the street in Manhattan filming and they invited me to a show at John Varvatos. They made us check our cellphones to get in. Bob Gruen was there taking photos. They did Cmon and Love Me twice as they were filming a video of it. They also filmed scenes outside of them getting out of this taxi. They played the show in full makeup but were wearing suits by John Varvatos. Halfway through the set Paul said " John said we paid for the pants now we gotta play more for the jackets!"

- FYI: KISS Is In DUMBO Doing A Photoshoot Right Now

The quiet cobblestoned streets of DUMBO are currently being rocked by the long haired, long-tongued members of KISS. Twitter, Instagram, Vine, and Facebook have all confirmed the news. And our very own Jen Chung ran out of the office and to the scene with an urgency we haven't seen since Jon Hamm was spotted eating soup on the UWS. We'll update with any info she gets on the field (like, maybe this isn't really KISS, but some regular dudes just dressed like KISS? Improv Everywhere? Why are they in suits?) Thanks for that. That explains the new Dressed To Kill style photos I've been seeing.

They all look really good. I prefer this to their regular costumes.

i like it to some degree then i hate it. commercializing DRESSED TO KILL with modern suites and no ace or Peter. Also I think Gene should have had clogs and Eric Converse but oh well!!! Feels like that dumb ass re-make of THE A TEAM movie in some ways. I do like Come on and love me and do you love me even though I swear Do you love me is on Destroyer. I really like TWO TIMER, GETAWAY and ANYTHING FOR MY BABY which would have been cool in the set oh and Room Service.

WOULD BE COOL if Kiss started playing albums live.

I used to live on 21st and 8th years ago (kind of the gay area of town back then and still is I believe). A movie theater real close to where they are standing (or was last time I was there).
