That's a bit of a stretch. Not once did I think of Vinnie when HITS came out. Not the record or the tour when Leon the Sphinx was out, or when I saw that show in 95 in Sydney. Not once.

Vinnie Poncia came back for HITS, not Vinnie Cusano.

Considering Paul came up with the ankh makeup... again he came up with the egyptian theme of HITS. Vinnie was long forgotten in the KISS camp by that point.

I was joking. Didn't you notice the wink at the very bottom.

I don't think Animalize was a coincidence in the name....when he had intended Animal for the cd.

I do think Vinnie should have done a cover with an Egyptian theme.

Was Vinnie really ever considering making it as far in Kiss to record the Animalize album?

Gene took the album title "REVENGE" from Vinnie.

It would've worked perfectly for Vinnie but it didn't for Kiss.
Who were they seeking REVENGE from ? THEMSELVES ?
THINK: Porter Wagoner

Kiss did alot of stupid things. I guess Revenge after 3 or 4 lackluster albums (although--granted..some people liked them so..).

Then having he Statue Of Liberty flip off the crowd at the end of the show.

I thought the middle fingers jackets were stupid as well.

Yes, I never understood The Statue Of Liberty turning into a skeleton that flips the crowd off...

Yes, I dislike those jackets as well. I worked at a Kiss Warehouse called H& H Marketing back in 1997. We had a few of those leather jackets. Where could you wear them ????
I do have the altered huge poster in my laundry room. Less awful. :D

How much were they? $500 or so?

Other than to a bar or a concert, I don't know where you would have worn one of those things either.

Maybe if you were in a motorcycle gang ;)
