Naaaaasty!!!! But true!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains! :(

After over 40 years of playing Gene is really a solid bass player. He isn't Stu Hamm, Jaco or Billy Sheehan technically but he really has developed competent well practiced technique.

Paul can't sing live sadly anymore!

Well...He's almost eligible for Medicare lol ...sorry that might not translate outside the US...he's almost a senior citizen :( sadly it happens to most of them. Even Ozzy, whose voice was steady as a rock up until a couple years ago. I saw some bootlegs of the Sabbath reunion in Birmingham...he sounded horrible....and he's one of my favorite singers. Paul is too for that matter..well studio Paul, his adlibs live are somtimes too over the top/cheesy

I was on an Ozzy tour 12 years ago. You would be surprised what they did behind the scenes for Ozzy to "sing".

On one tour they had Robert Mason singing WITH Ozzy  behind a curtain.
( straight from Gloria Butler -Geezer's wife---- I worked for their son's band Apartment 26 in 2000, GREAT GUYS !!!!)
Very cool experience meeting Geezer at his house in St. Louis. The guys told him I liked toys. They never told me about his collection. Geezer asked what I liked and I told him ,Batman toys from the 1960's and 1970's.
He then took me to a converted library and showed me his collection of the toys I destroyed as a child. PRISTINE CONDITION. The funny thing was , he had custom basses behind glass and a custom Tony Iommi guitar also locked up.
It took everything in my power not to be a total fanboy and blow him where he stood.

On the Ozzfest I was a part of , John Sinclair doubled Ozzy's vocals a lot.

I'm not sure if tapes were ever used.

Also, Do you know why Ozzy throws buckets of water on himself and the crowd ?
Maybe, just maybe , to cover up the fact that he pisses himself. :|

We were loading equipment into what I was told was Biff's (Geezer's son) Aunt's house.

I kept loading the equipment while the guys went inside.

I figured out where I was when I saw about 8 Ampeg SVT Cbinets lined up against the garage wall. There was a Japanese silken robe hanging from the ceiling and a leather Black Sabbath tour bag on the ground.

I kept my cool and was invited into the house ... 8) 8) 8) 8)
