Yeah he told me back in March that he was going to put her up for sale. It's in pretty near mint condition too.

It's up there, but in fantastic condition they can fetch decent money from Jackson collectors due to their rarity.

Unfortunately we as Vinnie fans of that guitar are competing with Jackson fans, who don't necessarily care for Vinnie, just the rareness of the model.

Technically, Vinnie Vincent guitars would have super low resale if they were not sought after by collectors of that particular guitar manufacturer.

The one off's from ESP, Carvin, Ibanez and Washburn would be of interest to enthusiasts of those makers, who may have deeper pockets and fight among themselves to bag such a "rare bird".

More's the pity Vinnie didn't strike a deal with Hondo, we could all have cheap VVV models. Unless there is some demand for Hondos that I'm not aware of? :)

Lol actually some of those Hondo's from the 80's could be dialed into to be pretty nice guitars

Cowhorn Hondo Double Neck - My My

Little known fact is that Hondo Guitars actually started in Texas before being produced in Japan in the 70's and 80's.

I only have one left today which is a very nice Explorer Copy but I once had several Hondo Strat's too and they were nice once you tweaked and adjusted them. Very nice inexpensive guitars in the 70's and 80's

That Cowhorn Doubleneck is a solid machine. Nothing cheap about it. Very well made in comparison to the shitty Chinese made Jacksons, Gibsons, etc... of today.

It went to the end so it wasn't backdoored. Maybe he's "re-thinking" his strategy (unless someone made him an offer after-the-fact). Maybe it will go back up on Ebay...

When it was up on ebay in 2012, it had $US7500 on it but I don't know what he paid for it? It is in fantastic condition though. He owns a purple/silver one as well but he said it's a bit beat up as it was his main player for years and is now in storage. He also made a pink/silver VVV himself.
