Unknown version of "Back to the Streets"
(NOTE: This might not belong here. If it doesn't, please feel free to move it. Also, sorry if this has been posted before)
Anyway, I just found out this version of "Back To The Streets"

Youtube hasn't worked to clear it up so... what exactly am listening to? A bootleg? A cover? And who the heck is singing? That can't be Vinnie, nor Slaughter, nor Robert.
So... help?

Re: Unknown version of "Back to the Streets"
Yep, I have asked about this before and the answer I got was...
Slayer wrote:The only thing that is Vinnie related about this recording is that he wrote this song. I believe that this may be Norwegian Artist "Satin" who recorded a whole album of Kiss Covers. Here is a version of "Gypsy in her Eyes" that Satin also recorded.

Re: Unknown version of "Back to the Streets"
I must admit it sounds a hell lot like Satin (most of his KISS covers are on youtube), but weirdly enough, I can't find (so far) anything indicating that Satin ever recorded a cover of "Back on the Streets".
Gonna try and research some more, see what I can find...
Update: Found this link:

"Back to the Streets" is nowhere to be found on that list. It even mentions "Gypsy in her Eyes", but that's it.

Re: Unknown version of "Back to the Streets"
I have a Vinnie-bootleg called "The pink and black attack" where this version of Back on the streets is included.
But I have no idea where it comes from.

Re: Unknown version of "Back to the Streets"
how about this Back On The Streets (from : Voyage Of The Rock Aliens - O.S.T.) Released: 1984
Re: Unknown version of "Back to the Streets"
i like the more anthem style chorus. its actually pretty well done. the singer is good too.
Re: Unknown version of "Back to the Streets"
maybe its not the rock aliens version as it was sung by a woman, unless this is a woman singing.
Re: Unknown version of "Back to the Streets"
if its 3 speed the singer is someone called Linda Chase, but it doesn't sound like a woman I don't think???
Re: Unknown version of "Back to the Streets"
this is the 3 speed version, just found it.

Re: Unknown version of "Back to the Streets"
I must agree: at first, that does not sound like a woman at all!
But then she does... sort of.
