Un-reversed Intro to Ashes to Ashes

Post by metatron »

Ever wondered what the backwards-masked intro to Ashes to Ashes from Vinnie Vincent’s Invasion second album, ‘All Systems Go’ actually said. Forget scratching up your good vinyl LP cause here it is in all it’s glory. Great to make ring tone out of (2 be played @ maximum volume.)

The Song is called Memories of You and is by a Japanese guitarist called Kuni. Dana produced his album.

I don't know a thing about royalty payments. I am wondering if they had to pay for the clip of the song even if they used it backwards.Did Vinnie write the song? Anyone know ?

THINK: Porter Wagoner

Vinnie had nothing to do with it. I'd bet the Kuni guy wrote it. But Dana produced the album and he involvement might owe him a co-ownership. Who knows? But my guess is that there is no royalty payments because of Dana and that Vinnie had nothing to do with it.
