More makeup then when they wore the facepaint!

Yes, Gene did look hideous but that could also work in a creepy, cool, glam way... much like:

and bassist Mark Mendoza looked even creepier than Dee and Gene combined... "glam" but still "dangerous"... imagine seeing this in a dark alley:

They could've stayed Black and Silver with "identifying color" highlights.

Yes same thing I thought... kinda extend on the colored lips from the album cover (except Eric should've been fox orange).

I don't know guys, maybe you lived through the time, so you got tired of the glam image, but I love it! I think Animalize and Lick It Up are my favorite era's look-wise and music-wise. "Amazons bearing tupperware."

Funny thing is the audience didnt look glam at all.. in fact the opposite. Usually the guys listening to this had a mullet and big tinted glasses with a mustache.

Image is important. I've always felt if a band doesn't put any effort into their look before they go onstage, it shows the audience they don't care.
