I never understood why the tribute bands couldn't do multiple sets with different make-up! That would be something to see.

I think they're just not as popular and slightly obscure. Member's of the KISS army would get the references. Everybody else? No.

Would be like seeing somebody dressed as Mark St. John and without make-up (kind of obvious...) on a KISS tribute band.
