I don't think I've seen that before. Steve is a knowledgeable guy, and he gets Vinnie, that's how it is. Of course since the article we now know that Vinnie has been getting in his own way big time and burning more bridges.
There is so much depth to what Vinnie at least was capable of. Too bad he didn't show that at CF, but maybe he can't play like that anymore either.

'Vinnie Vincent is a superhero. Well, in a way. He is part of a great and rare fraternity called the Secret Society of Six-String Supermen or S.S.S.S.S [imagine the sound of a pick sliding down a guitar string].
It is the most exclusive organization in the world—in the history of the world—and there is only one way to attain membership: You must be a legit, no arguments, bona fide guitar playing superhero.
There is no club like this, though I’d like to believe there is one. If one existed, Vincent would be in it.........'
Now that RIGHT THERE! would a mind-blowing idea for a TV/Netflix/HBO/Amazon Series. (like Amazon's THE BOYS, but with Six-String Superheros) Imagine that, the Secret Society of Six-String Supermen. May change to the Secret Society of Six-String Superheros to represent the ladies too! That show would shred.
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

So 80's!
I'd guess that one was written pre Invasion days.
Some nice clean soloing there too.

Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
