Would be really cool if they include MJJ
yeah Michael James Jackson is a crucial part of that era. Would be great to fish out a lot of Cretures session players too.
The sound MJJ and the engineer got out of Creatures to me is massive.

How about that weak attempt at the COTN drum sound on the re-recordings from Sonic Boom ?
The kick drum sounded like a marching drum instead of a CANNON !!!!

ILIL

i heard the I love it loud sonic boom version drums and they sound generic and plastic. Creatures is a true heavy metal record and has balls but the new version safe and easy.

Paul 'Yer that sounds great. Your a brain surgeon Gene. But only if I can put some Baby, Baby, Babies in there somewhere'

Purely to make money selling the rerecording to commercials/video games/etc...
Use the original recording and the money gets divided a lot more.

Ala Sharon & Ozzy ripping off Bob & Lee with the re-records of Blizzard & Diary! Of which I proudly say, I haven't heard! Originals for me!

The creatures drums sound like they are recorded in a cave with stainless steel drums. One of the most district drum sound ever.
I think that maybe not overly radio friendly sound which is maybe why lick it up was toned down.
That said I think Eric Carr sounded good on every album up to and including crazy nights

I'm just posting this for Vinnie to place with security at all points of entry to Vinnie-Con.
All joking aside, I look forward to a peaceful time in Atlanta IF I do attend.
