Vinnie - READ THIS - ABOUT YOUR BOOK !!!

Post by Streetbeat »

Vinnie, just in case you read this, a nice article
WHY YOU MUST RELEASE YOUR BOOK and NOW.

There is no Greater Agony Than Bearing an Untold Story Inside You

Maya Angelou, a great American author and poet said that. She couldn’t have said that any better. It’s a profound statement on finding your calling and sharing your life’s work. Her most famous work, “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings”, has sold millions of copies.
What’s your story?
Do you ever wonder if you’re fully realizing your potential?
You imagine yourself producing great and attention-grabbing work, but you don’t know why it hasn’t happened yet.
So what’s stopping you?
If you have a story that you simply cannot share with the rest of the world, then open up a journal, put pen to paper, and release it.
Pursue your life’s work with a burning curiosity.
Feeling unfulfilled is its own unique kind of agony. Don’t carry that pain for the rest of your life. Do something with it.
The greatest burden is an unfulfilled potential.
Ultimately, your life will be measured by what you gave, not what you received or what you thought about doing.
Spend your life building a body of work. We need it.
Embrace yourself for who you really are and learn to harness your creative potential to change the trajectory of your professional life.
“Don’t dare to be different, dare to be yourself — if that doesn’t make you different then something is wrong,” says Laura Baker
Everybody has a story to tell and a unique and distinct talent to share. Self-expression fulfills. It gives others hope and faith in themselves.
So, please create! When, if not now? The world needs more authentic creative expression from you, expression from deep within. What you do matters, not what you think, say or plan.
It doesn’t have to be perfect. But matters that you tell your unique story through your art.
Perfect lets you stall, ask more questions, safe it up and generally avoid doing anything that might fail.
Ernest Hemingway once said “Write drunk; edit sober”.
Use the same mindset for anything you start.
The only way to succeed is to try. You can’t make, create, do or start anything worthwhile if you are not willing to experiment. Nobody gets it right the first time. Artists experiment different ideas until they find what works for them. Try and err.
The painter Willem de Kooning used to wrap his paintings in newspaper between sessions, which kept the paint from drying out. This had an inadvertent effect of transferring some of the print into the painting. He liked the effect, so he utilized it and produced great effect in subsequent paintings.
Do more of what works!
In “The Universe Doesn’t Give a Flying Fuck About You”, J. B. Truant says nobody’s going to make you good, or great, or amazing, or epic.
She writes “If you want that next level, take it. Take it for yourself. Grab it. Become it. Claim it. Write a treatise. Create an event. Champion a cause. Build something great. Speak your mind. Make the call. Build the business. Author the book. Send the email. Do it. Do it.”
You don’t have to be a genius to show your work
Art is a form of self-expression. An expression of yourself. If you want people to know about what you do and the things you care about, you have to share.
Find your voice, shout it from the rooftops, and keep doing it until the people that are looking for you find you.” says Dan Harmon
When you learn something, turn around and teach it to others.
Share your reading list. Point to helpful reference materials. Create some tutorials and post them online. Use pictures, words, and video. Take people step-by-step through part of your process.
Kathy Sierra says, “Make people better at something they want to be better at”. Be ambitious. Think bigger. Try new things. If an opportunity comes along that will allow you to do more of the kind of work you want to do, say Yes. Yes to
What actions, thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors are you attracted to the most?
The key is to do more of what you enjoy and brings out the very best in youand you will continually clarify what it is that you want to do, be and have in life.
Overcome the resistance brain
Many people have two lives. The life they live and the other life they aspire to live. Between the two stands Resistance.
You probably have a vision of the person you want to become, the work you could accomplish, or the perfect future you want for your family but for some reason, you never get to even give it a go.
Resistance is an active and relentless force whose sole purpose is to stop you from becoming your best self and from achieving your higher goals.
It’s your job is to figure out how to quiet it and ignore it.
Steven Pressfield, author of The War of Art: Break Through the Blocks & Win Your Inner Creative Battles, notes that the more resistance you experience, the more important your unmanifested art/project/enterprise is to you — and the more gratification you will fell when you finally do it.
By overcoming the resistance and consistently sharing your work, you will inevitably stumble across your purpose and unique story.
If your life is what happens to you instead of what you choose to make, do or create, take control today and make the necessary change to live life on your own terms.
Make your life a masterpiece
Humans have amazing capacity to create anything, no matter how small, out of nothing. Every occupation — from painter to businessperson, teacher to chef — requires us to imagine, create, and execute ideas. And that’s exactly what has brought us this far.
As you embrace your complexities, becoming more and more intimate not only with how you are wired but what really matters to you, you open the doors to the imagination, inspiration, and innovation that make all things possible.
You can’t truly express yourself, until you’ve found your voice: the tone, style, tenor, pitch, personality you use to express yourself without fear or reservation.
The greatest and most important adventure of our lives is discovering who we really are and spending time doing what brings out the best in us.
Give yourself permission to think and act in the direction of your dream.
Make no mistake. The world is waiting for you.
Waiting for you to stop asking for permission. To stop questioning yourself. To stop listening to everyone else.
Waiting for you to start something. Waiting to hear what you have to say. Waiting to share your ideas.
You are the only one who can push yourself that further to just start.
Express yourself boldly! Be authentic!
Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.
