Can Vinnie still play?
Can Vinnie still play?
I tried to find this topic before I started a new one. I was listening to an interview and the guest was saying he had seen Vinnie in a guitar store around 2002 or so and that it looked like "he never had any chops" I've heard people say he can't play anymore. Where did this start and do you believe there is any truth to it?

Re: Can Vinnie still play?
Vinnie's late wife Diane (RIP) stated many times that Vinnie often played an acoustic guitar whilst sitting around the house.
I hope he can and still does play.

Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
Re: Can Vinnie still play?
I'm sure someone of Vinnie's caliber, even after years of playing nothing, could play rings around me.
People may lose chops as time goes by, but Vinnie has so much in the chops department he will never fully run out. If that makes sense, lol.
