VVI Special Edition Double CD

Post by aeroflott »

Having a bit of a clearout as we are about to move house, and stumbled across my old CD collection. Forgot I had this. It was a Special Edition re-release of the VVI albums, by Zoom Club Records, a UK based label. I bought it back in 2003 at a record fare over here in the UK.

I'm not sure if it saw a US release? Anyway, thought I'd share:

The gatefold inside the case has the song lyrics and a bit of cool history of the band.

Also found these two which I thought were long lost:

The Invasion Reissues from Zoom Club were available in the USA. I didn't buy it because I had the original cd's. Great post and thank you for sharing! Best wishes on the new home

Weren't some of the songs edited on that release? The singles with the shorter guitar solo versions rather than the original album versions?

From memory it's Love Kills which is the radio version.

The first album is as the original.

zoom club released ASG with the Radio edit version of Love Kills for some dumb reason. maybe a mistake? The artwork printing of the original re-realeases from zoom was awful . no quality control (i dont know about the special edition box set though as i never saw it).
the capitol records re-issues were much better.
