Robert Fleischman encounter!

I went to see Enuff Znuff last night at Mickey Finn's in Libertyville, IL.
It was a great show and I had a great time.
During the show Chip Znuff pointed to the audience and said "The former lead singer of Journey and writer of Wheel In the Sky is here tonight!"
My head snapped around because it could only be.....it was!
Robert Fleischman!

After the show I went up and introduced myself and told him how much I loved the first Vinnie record as well as his new band The Sky. He was really appreciative of that seeing as how people were mainly coming up to him about Journey. He shook my hand and I asked him if he was here to record an album or something. He told me that he moved to Wisconsin and now lives there. He was super nice.

RF would be a good fit vocally for EZN. That is where his range and timbre of his voice are at now. In fact, EZN is the first band I thought of when I heard The Sky !

I thought Robert was living in Richmond VA and working with Andre ? I live 45 min from there and my record collector friend is friends with them .

Robert's wife has been tackling some health issues which necessitated Robert and her move closer to her family in Wisconsin. I believe she's doing better and they are possibly considering a return to Los Angeles but I'm not 100% on that. The Sky is still together and is planning to put stuff out in 2016 and Robert is also working on solo stuff. He was on our recent episode entitled Giving Thanks.
