Vinnie's Voice

Post by RXrocker »

Vinnie's voice...seemed to be pretty low when he was in KISS. And then it became very, very effeminate as he got older. Or am I nuts?

Here's a KISS interview where his voice is low

And here's a video from the 90's where his voice is way higher and softer:

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this!

Yes, some of the 90's interviews are pretty cringe worthy with the overly effeminate voice. Maybe the voice was fake, maybe hormones... who knows.

Prozac maybe. When I spoke on phone to him even though he had a cold it sounded like old vinnie.

Prozac? Hmmm, my brother takes it but his voice is as deep as ever. I think maybe one of Cusano's many personalities may have shown her face during that 90's interview...

Oh ok. I know some people on prozac and they get this intense fake kind of positive tone in voice. I am most likely totally off.

You could be right... it is an antidepressant after all.

No, sounds about right. I think I may do this myself when I'm medicated.

But I reckon it's just Vinnie exploring his feminine side

Prozac was fairly dangerous. I heard about the Abbott company getting sued for people's deaths a couple of years ago.

I spoke to him on phone and voice not too different. I think the pa at convention will effect his voice quite a lot.

There is a fellow in my class that talks effeminate. I didn't notice until the second day. When it comes to gender identity, I mind my own business.
