Mark playing the Vinnie Jackson AGAIN !!!!

I wish he would take better care of himself. His voice might follow...

The high end has gone hasn't it! Mid range still cooking though. Tastey on the gitbox to give credit!

Asg revording now seems a miracle performance. I truly think the production engineering team including vinnie pulled off a miracle with marks voice on asg. I like mark though and I do feel for singers who loose voice.

I was talking to Vic about that last time he was in Sydney.
I was saying to Vic, I can do a pretty good Mark Slaughter impersonation, but that last line where he does that scream @04.13 would kill me (when I was a young lad in bands). I was saying to Vic, I reckon some heavy duty of processing on vocals was going on. In saying that they all do it & I really like Mark as a singer & person.

Actually that's the only note I could sing off the album. My voice was shot once I hit the ole puberty. I was a choir singer/school musical lead/wedding singer as a kid but it all disappeared by Grade 8! Can't even talk that long before my throat gets sore. Can't sing a verse and chorus of a song either before it starts to get sore. Only time I can sing is when playing live and the adrenaline masks the pain!

I can hit it on it's own. Had to be overdubbed.

Sounds decent enough - especially considering how many years since that was recorded?
I never expect live vocals to be perfect.

remember.....mark is basically a sound alike of fleischman's singing in invasion.....

and

jeff keith from tesla sounds better when he has rest in between dates too. when he does show after show after show, its really noticable because he's leaning a bit too much into his voice to sing.

those are guys who are doing it out of sheer will at their age with no help, injections, surgeries etc.

rob halford finally got help and his voice (when he isnt scared to reach) sounds like it did on all their old 80's albums in concert.

now if he'd only grow that damn hair back!!

What Halford needs to do is stop looking at the floor and engage the audience again!

I got the Rising DVD and was appalled. He's still doing it.

The Priest Live! DVD is the shit. The new one is just shit.

His voice, yes, his stage presence, no. How can he have stage fright?

He was such a showman on the Fuel For Life tour. I love that video/album.

I'm no natural for being on stage but I get out there.

I am massively pissed and disappointed in Rob, it looks terrible. He may as well perform in a box under the stage with a video feed. I'm sure Vinnie would like that too, to avoid the snipers etc. ;)

ya know, i think he's still scared in a litle corner of his brain that people are still not gonna aceept him cuz hes gay. i for one do. i've never looked up on a stage and thought "hmm i wonder if this guy's queer"

i go for the music and to be entertained.

people would probably be over the fuckin moon if they toured summer next year and hes smaller and grew the hair back (hair pieces can make him have a full head of hair again)

people would love it.

almost like a retro outfit thing kiss did on the reunion. it'd sell very nice.

I do wonder if its the gay thing too. He just needs to hold his head high and engage his audience again. Get over it and sing to the people, not the floor.

A retro tour would kick ass!!
