Re: Vinnie photo 2010
NOPE, Unless that jacket is still in good shape .that photo is circa early 1990's.
I was bummed a bit when I saw that the picture isn't new. I was also puzzled that he's holding the Jackson in it.
PHOTOSHOP the new geetar in there if your not going to pose for a new photo!!!
Small things that don't amount to a hill of beans.
I'm glad that I can at least see these beautiful instruments.

Strange for VV? No, I suppose not. Just about on par with not even showing up to promote at your own booth

Vinnie is doin' the 'leg up on toilet' pose
I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.

That is so cool that you pointed that out. I believe it was actually the smell of the ink. I believe the last Kiss related product to have that smell was the REVENGE CD book ..

Pre ASG tour! Laney amps in the background! Amp of choice on the 1st tour!
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!

I was going by the pictures printed in certain guitar publications. in the early 1990's. Shram is correct.poserboy71 wrote:NOPE, Unless that jacket is still in good shape .that photo is circa early 1990's.

In the picture on the right, it looks like Vinnie is wearing the belt from the Lick It Up album cover. I never noticed that before.

He has to be photographed with it or an endorsee at least. He has to have a demo too. Why not a picture with the original pear worst case scenario and a demo with the old pear. We also would piss our pants if he just posted him playing acoustic like his wife said. Why not gift something like that to the fans on his YouTube channel.

Re: Vinnie photo 2010
Dino, I agree- - how are we to buy into this new guitar with literally nothing concrete tying it to VV. I would quite possibly buy one of the new guitars but I would need a little bit of ass kissing on their part. Either a signed coa w/ pic of VV holding the exact guitar I was buying perhaps? Or a personal and private meet and greet at purchase with the option of a pic of him w/ me and the guitar and at the very least a pic of him autographing the guitar for me.
If you think about it , why couldnt we call bullshit on this guitar as being "authentic" ?????
1. we have no absolute concrete proof that VV has jackshit to do with it.
2. the luthier of the guitar has admitted that VV has not even touched one.
3. there is not 1 pic or vid of VV with this new guitar.
4. the guitar isnt autographed, no coa with it, etc.
5. etc. etc., etc.
I WANT PROOF that VV has something to do with this. Yes I know he does what with his wife being there, his father in law involved, his past ties with Palecki etc. BUT I want proof 20 years from now that I can show , you know?
Without any proof then as far as I am concerned this new guitar is no more "authentic" then the TJ Monster guitar that I already have hanging on the wall!!

Re: Vinnie photo 2010
I haven't read all the posts but I have yet to see a picture of Diane or Tom at the Namm Booth. What is wrong with a picture of them standing there or sitting there with the guitars hanging in the background. Frankly, a picture of Diane's foot with the guitars in the background doesn't substantiate anything either. The guitars look superb and I mean all of them but I would like to see more than an empty booth with 4 magnificent guitars hanging.

Re: Vinnie photo 2010
I asked my friends to ask Diane and the team for pictures of them at the booth. We shall see.
With respect, given my misunderstanding with the Cusano family, Diane has "crossed -over " and made herself a public figure now SO everyone should change their avatar picture to a picture of her ...
JOKING !!!
I am impressed that she was there and answered questions. VERY COOL ON HER PART.

Agreed but any one could just walk by and snap a cell phone picture. They would think that it's another picture being taken of the booth and the guitars. I can't believe that no one has taken a picture of the people working the booth. There are pictures of Malmsteen, Vai, King, Gilbert you name it that are snapped by just normal folks going about there business walking around Namm.
Thanks Rick! I hope your friends come through with this as it is truly part of the story. With all the great pictures that Tim took did he really not have a single picture of Tom, Diane or her Dad? More likely he has chosen to not post those.
BTW - Those were superb pictures Tim and we are all grateful to you for sharing them.

Re: Vinnie photo 2010
yes good work tim.
Yes, I agree. There is even no picture of VV with the Pear.
If no picture and video of VV playing at least the Pear it comes across as just a business deal. We all know that guitarists endorsed guitars they didn't really use or like. This obviously has not been played or touched by Vinnie and that is a real problem. I suppose even if he don't like it he can not say so.
Obviously we know for a fact VV liked and used the Carvin and Jackson (and its seems at least the Washburn was used in the studio), but this has the feeling of a deal only.
Obviously he feels that Tom can pull it off. Its clear VV did get that Pear (even though a few people had stories about that too). Whats not clear is if VV used it, liked it etc.
For nearly 10k you need a picture of VV with your guitar at the very least.. with all the cheap asian knock offs, its hard to sell on anything a genuine anymore and this has to be fully documented. From photos of it being made and painted. the serial, a real signiture not the transfer Tom has kept over these years. a letter from TM1 and Tom as well as Vinnie and a quick video with VV playing it. I am asking for a lot but they are too.
