Looks like they've got fine tuners, so I'll guess a Floyd Pro and the pink one looks like it's got an EMG.

$9,000.00 for the regular VVV

$ 12,000.00 for the anniversary model

The fans that were screwed out of the box set should ask for their rebate against the cost of the guitar (plus 14 years of interest)

Left to right it looks to me,

pink/silver, silver/purple, white/gold, gold/dark gold 25th anniversary model!

Can only assume as the Rhoads 30th anniversary model was gold and Vinnie's history with the Rhoads, he chose his 25th anniversary model to be gold as well?!?!? Just guessing though.

And they do look like 22 fretters too, except the white/gold model!

No guitar is worth $9K, let alone $12K for us schmos that live outside of the USA! And NO CASE??? WTF???
Seriously, $9K?? Bottom line is, VV has been a nobody for the best part of 20years. Why would he or anyone else think that his signature guitar is worth that sort of money. Gimme a guitar played and owned by Chucky Berry for $12K sure, but a reproduction of a guitar from a player who, before and after his time in KISS, is an unnkown to most of the world's population......puuuhlease!
Surely if someone buys one of these someone here in this forum will know them. I through down the challenge.....let us know if you know anyone who ends up making a purchase!

Can anbody actually get a chance to talk to her and ask her a few questions? We could finally have some of these rumours we have had about Vinnie for so long finally answered. Nothing to bad but just something, like it has been said before this man has nearly been a ghost for 20 years or so.

I don't think things like Street Prices and MAP apply to these guitar. Vinnie had Tom make them and he wants 9K it seems. This isn't a regular retail business, this is one guy with a product he is hoping to sell.

I think he's priced himself out of the market.

Sure if I was super rich and had an interest in Vinnie I would buy one cause I wouldn't care about the price nor if they were offered cheaper in a few months/years time just to get rid of them.

BUT, I'm not mega rich and if I did buy one at today's prices it would make me insanely angry to find them super discounted after wards.

It's things like that which make me buying these such a risk. No manufacturer behind it to cover your butt and an unknown sale policy.

Too many variables, not enough info.

For sure they look mega sweet, but I'm wondering if it's a real, German made Floyd on there. A guitar at this price has to have the best of the best.

Looking forward to more pics and info Rick.

Is the luthier the Pears guitar guy? I've never played one, but remember some of them. From what I've seen with the luthier's skills on previous guitars I have no doubt the guy has talent in building guitar - and they will be nice. Doubt they will sell at that price though. The only real market I see are the hardcore VV fans and most of them are on this board. Most people don't have the funds to lay down 9k on the dot -not even 4-5k. I know ghost builders who would take on the job on replicating one of the carvins, jacksons, washburns, etc. for around 3-4k handmade, which I think is the more realistic price for these guitars. Regardless, I'm glad at least something is exposed and new in VV world. Let's see what boils up within these next few weeks. I predict 10-15 will be made and sold, if that. These won't appreciate in value over the years.

They are made by Tom Palecki of Pear/AGZ Guitars yes. Vinnie constantly prices himself out of the market. When doing deals with people like Zoom Club to bring out his unreleased music, he was unrealistic in his price to them, they had to pass as it wouldn't be worth it.

He at least seems to have been able to make a deal with Tom but now is screwing the public over with the price, which is fine as we just won't pay. I wonder if Tom has been paid for the guitars already built and who actually owns them.

Man I cannot believe the price of these!! They will be beautiful guitars... No doubt but 9-12k is heavily inflated! You can get vintage Les Pauls for these dollars! So where does this leave us VV fans from the 80's that have stuck by him for 20+ years?? We have waited so long for new product from him and he delivers the Rolls Royce of guitars which most of us cannot afford. I'm glad I purchased the Jackson 30th Anniversary First Five Gold Rhoads now at least it was affordable...this is a real let down and disappointment...way too expensive

The only companies that can charge 9k for a guitar and actually sell them are Fender and Gibson. Gibson recently has been knocked down due to poor quality control, product planning, and being one of the worst places to work in the usa. They make copies of copies of rehashed guitars - yet people still lay down the dough. The reason being is that they have the name to exploit. They have better resale values than most current companies, but still nothing like the Michigan-made ones. I have no doubt that Vinnie's guitars will be great players, but his name isn't enough to justify the prices - with a small unknown luthier as well (even though I think the guy has great luthier skills). If the price was right I think I would actually snag one - Vinnie's V guitar is really the only flying V style I like. I think these NAMM ones are especially killer and hopefully they can get things off ground.

Anybody here planning on getting one at the moment at that price? And to the guys at NAMM: do they let you play them? In all honesty I think there won't be many made and this will make them quite rare and collectible for VV fans, but who knows what the market holds in the future. I see these as collectibles and not actual players - which I guess is what they are going for.

Are they playable? Can you touch them? I know you can do these things with other guitars and amps. Try them out etc.

They will be collectible in the future but their value will have a real limit amongst the few faithful.

Jackson VVV's are collectible much to my annoyance because they are Jackson's and appeal as low volume coveted guitars to Jackson enthusiasts, of which there are a few and the prices go up when they are involved.

Nobody in the Jackson camp will care much for these at crazy prices. At 1K a LOT of people will put their money down, I know I would. 80's guitar fans, pointy guitar fans, Jackson type guitar fans would all hop on board but at these prices all we can do is look.

You can't hand make a guitar for 1k. Just not happening. You'll lose money on a quality built neck through guitar. You'd have to work for $2 an hour.

Good point TJMonster... Vinnie and Tom aren't expected to give these guitars away but the price needs to be relative to the brand name..and there is no brand unfortunately...Vinnie and Tom have gone into business together and have probably created an amazing product but will the world actually get to see this guitar? At 9k realistically how many will sell? This may end up becoming the best kept secret that the guitar community and Vinnie fans alike never actually have the pleasure to see or demo...If these entered the market at up to 5k I think he would move some units.. I would definitely buy one up to 5k ( and play it once a year!) But how can we fathom 9k!? I would want it personally delivered by Vinnie with an in house guitar lesson from him for that money :D
