It may sound weird but ,that is what I've wanted to see for so long.
You can tell by the squint in his eyes that his smile was back.
We didn't see that big smile in the conventions of the 1990s but it was there in that video.

I dont know if I feel better or worse...Seeing HIM was a big part of the confirmation that this is real. And he STILL hid..

So many people seem to be upset that he didn't show himself in his entirety. We all know Vinnie is a mysterious person.
I think the way the video was shot was great. Him not showing his full face is keeping the excitement up and us on the edge.
So when the time does come to see him at the Expo/Meet and Greet, we will be that much MORE excited to finally see him in full view!
And agree with Rick...you could tell he was smiling. It's great knowing that.

Am I wrong in thinking it's weird that he's hiding his face and the reason is he's coming out as a woman? Maybe coming back in public is at least partially about coming out in public? As awesome as it would be in some ways it would seriously bum me out because he was one of the examples I'd give in high school when I was all like, "Just because I like pink doesn't make me gay!" I was really bummed after years of insisting to my Mom that Queen was just the band's name ... not bummed that Freddie was gay but the constant barrage of everything I liked (and/or didn't like) supposedly made me less of a male. Sorry ... this is all TMI and weird. Sorry.

The whole 'VV is becoming a woman' story was falsified long ago.
The people who started that rumor, and that ridiculous Swedish Documentary that claimed to have made contact; had some 'private investigator' who claimed that VV was turning into a woman only added fuel to the fire.

Seriously, though... Compared to his 1986-'87 getup, Vinnie looks positively masculine here. If he wants to wear some eyeliner, who cares? The guy came up in the 70's when Bowie, Bolan, Mercury, et al, were all dolled up at one point or another. It's not a big deal, really.

I wish I could wear eyeliner at my job. Geez, I'd settle for jeans.

A kid in my old band worked in a video store back in 1987, and he went to work one day wearing eyeliner. It was just barely visible, not ostentatious at all. Someone complained, and my buddy got fired over it. He might've got away with it nowadays, but in '87 they weren't having it.

Hey, lots of rock stars still wear the eyeliner - Tom Keifer (lead man from Cinderella who has his own band now - who you def need to check-out) still wears it . . .no questions asked . . . def one of the hipest guys in rock (my opinion).

That particular guitar was last seen in 1987 with gaffer tape all over it . I am guessing it may have been sitting unplayed since then . I have never seen a picture of it being played live. In fact only seen 2 pictures total of it until now and the one without the gaffer tape has not been on the internet for over 10 years.

Vv is old school it's clear he would have had hair and make up and a stylist at least before hand . I don't think any of those bands do make up themselves for a photo shoot etc. I certainly don't think old school bands like kiss / vv would do their own make up for a shoot and this clearly is the same
