i just could not imagine it myself. All Systems go with Steve on vocals. Interesting though. I still say the two best vocal performances of the 80s were on VVI one and two albums.
Promises made, crying in vain, all empty. Never accepting the blame and not letting go of the shame. A river of tears, as months turn to years, all wasted. On someone not willing to change. Now only a shadow remains!
Steve seems like a GOOD OL' BOY. He has a Rockin' RASP to his voice that I believe Vinnie wouldn't have gone for simply because Vinnie already had that in his own voice and didn't want that representing the VVI sound.
THINK: Porter Wagoner

I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing. I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

teve has a great voice and is an incredible frontman still to this day but I strongly believe that if Vinnie knew about Dana's intentions, he quickly put a stop to it and insisted on the style of singers that he eventually used.
