secret auction

Post by doublev2 »

Vinnie has all over his YouTube channel vinnievincentguitar1 videos 'look out for very special secret auction'
My guess is 100 t shirts for auction.
Not that's how he can auction on YouTube. I bet it's just email your highest bid and highest email bid gets the box of unsold shirts. thats my guess.

well vinnie made all his videos private. so he wanted people to 'watch this space' about up and coming secret auction plus other stuff but now its impossible. nothing can be read anymore. he can not communicate at all anymore about products. i am 100% sure its because virtually no t shirt sales and not many views of his newer videos plus maybe some other things.

i wasn't going to help VV out by posting here but what the hell.. he has now re-opened youtube account and is suggesting that the secret auction is coming up.

I will take the Ibanez VV for 4000 bucks. I like it because its the ugliest of all VV guitar model guitars and thats what I like.

basically he is going to get you to send in an offer for any items (maybe even guitars). If TM1 accept (VV in disguise) he will then have you send ID and then once he is happy that all is ok he will accept or not accept your offer. He will do this so Kiss and creditors can not take his profits.

One of the most trusted high end collectible guitar consignment dealer " Gruhn's guitars" is a hop and skip from him. If he was serious about selling guitars, they would get him top dollar, they have a ridicules client list.

He also has one of the most insane guitar collection's at Gruhn's you can actually walk through ...

You're correct.
I was there last year and felt like a kid in a candy store.
Amazing stuff, but you're going to pay.
Plus, it's near the Hard Rock (which oddly enough doesn't have any Vinnie memorabilia).

Sweet, I am going to visit there during my trip in November.

Did you read that Vinnie? Put your guitars where your mouth is and have Gruhn's sell them for you. Join the big boys who are selling guitars.

guys Vinnie can not sell through anything other than 'secret'. he did not declare those guitars as property in bankruptcy court. Thats why they may go a bit cheaper. He will say something like my friend owns them and I am borrowing them. Also his creditors may take profits if sold through a dealer/auction.

Their commission is no more than any other dealer, and being they would pull more for the guitars because its a trusted seller, "Vinnies reputation for selling things would kill the ability to bring top dollar". So he would still be ahead despite a commission.

As far as the bankruptcy in 89, it was a restructure chapter 11 and was concluded in 93 so he would not have to hide anything. And since they were equipment for a trade "basically he used for work and removal of would impeach his ability to earn income and pay his debt" they were exempt any way. The other bankruptcy's he attempted to file were never properly filed and refused, His debts on the lawsuits are covered by the royalties agreement, he can do what ever he wants with the guitars or anything else.

He said he had one guitar he used for work with value of $700 . This has been listed on all bankruptcies which is a lot like every 2 years. He would also not want kiss to count them as assists but he illegally failed to name them even if he could say he needed them for work.

While I will agree to disagree, other than the guitarmeggdon guitars being at issue, "I have a feeling there was some tricky paper work signed that allowed V to walk with those". I know if I had spent the time on those guitars they would have gone no where with out payment.
But it really is all moot he will never sell any of the guitars. The secret auction is just another Vinnie attempt to have a few of us to talk about him.

Cryptic. What exactly does he plan on auctioning off and where? Ebay?

Does he know you can write and disseminate a PR worldwide for about a $100? I used to do it for MAB. To say he would reach a mass of people is an understatement compared to his youtube channel which has like 1500 views. Who knows how many users follow vinnievincentguitar.com. At least with an Ebay account there will be protection for both parties if he plans on selling swag or gear. My guess is that he'll have a friend host his auctions to avoid paying you know who. This is why it's being kept on the downlow. Once any auction of his goes live it will make news like it or not. With that being said, here ya go VV. Lemme know if you need my help. I have an account with references ;)

One more example of help being offered.

I won't spend a dime, I don't have a dime. If I did , I still wouldn't spend it.
I have been a hardcore fan for ages. I consider it a huge slap in the face that he wants as much as he does for something that means more to us than it does to him.

Vv had his secret auction up but took it down. I didn't post as prices were nuts.

Vv 100k for your Jackson??? He needs to learn that his Jackson is probably only worth 10k and all the others 3 to 4k and still won't sell fast. Marry friedman sold his famous carvin for like 1000.
