After years of petitions, denunciations by Gene Simmons and roughly 300 angry rants by VH1 Classic's Eddie Trunk, Kiss are finally entering the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014. Here are (from left) Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Vinnie Vincent and Eric Carr in January of 1983. They took off their signature makeup later that year.

Gene mentioning him HAS to make Vinnie happy. Even though the Rock Hall IS a fukn joke (Nirvana before Deep Purple?! Lol!) all eight surviving members should be there... with dedications to Aucoin, Delaney, Bogart, Carr, St. John, etc.)

its purely about money. if you were a concert draw, you sold records and the owners of the hall like you, you will AT LEAST be nominated.


rock hall is all about representing all kinds of music, not just "rock".

I'll give you this:
I worked a Lauren Hill show in Cleveland a few days after she one multiple Grammy Awards.
They pushed the stage up the floor to seat a 1/4 of what the CSU gymnasium could hold and she couldn't even fill THAT !!!!
Not many , if any, of those rap artists can fill a place like that, let alone tour, like a Rock or Country act can.

Call it the MUSIC Hall Of Fame then.
It's not like there are baseball artifacts at the Pro Football Hall Of Fame. Get it ?

In his latest online post, Paul Stanley said that a performance with the original members "seems unlikely." Doesn't it seem like that's a big PR stunt? Make a big deal about not playing with the original band, create a big stir with the fans, then at the 11th hour announce that they WILL perform. I hope that's what Paul's doing. Otherwise it's a major F-you to the fans who clearly want to see the original 4 perform.

Paul is creating more of a demand by saying it won't happen.
Money talks. He is just getting promoters to raise their offers for a tour INVOLVING the original band members.

I strongly believe that the ORIGINAL band members will be on stage in makeup and joined by ALL living members throughout the show. Eric Singer will be on stage the entire time playing along with Peter (ala Unplugged)...

Very possible . They are getting close to dead in water with current lifeless line up.
They need some crazy motherfuckers to kick their assessment like vv and ace did.
