As you may have noticed, there has been some spammers on the board.

I was just saying to someone at work this week that the registration process these days is great at stopping spam bots from registering.

Well, something happened and a LOT of PHPBB boards like this one have been inundated with Russian crap. Some a LOT worse that what has happened here.

I'm not sure how they did it, but I've changed the registration questions to see how that goes.

As long as they put up pictures of themselves petting their clams...

Yeah, I keep get PMs from Sandraoa (posts 0) asking about where to get some spam software generator BS.
Wish I could block him.

Also, I think if you go into a profile and make someone a foe you shouldn't get anything from them. I think.

I did make them a foe but I still received email notification for the initial PM

Ok, cool. Just report anybody like that and I'll take care of them.
