Ok, with the new forum we have space for a banner/logo, and Chris submitted a quick one, which is sized to the banner but it needs some tweaking as the picture size we thought was the logo doesn't cover a part of the top that isn't part of the logo.

Guys, have a look at the above, we need to work out how many pixels it is to block out the old background, with the choice of blocking out the links section, which seems redundant as I can't find anywhere to set them. Or keep it shorter lengthwise and leave the links showing for now.

Ok, I've worked out how to replace the banner and remove the so called logo.

The links that were there are gone and I just need to work out how to remove the text of the forum name and description as it's not needed. I gave it a try and the results weren't great.

For those working on banners, the size is 860x200.

You guys may have noticed, there is no more text for the forum name, just the banner, yay!!!!

I have recieved a really cool banner pic from Streetbeat today which I'll look at putting up later tonight when I get home.

WOW Streetbeat, you really did a fine job on that banner. A stellar job . The layout is very exciting.

I love how "our" purple VVV got a makeover.The Japanese sun doesn't need to make sense within the collage because it just LOOKS COOL.

Rick, the Rising Sun is there from Vinnie's Lick It Up days, he wore the shirt. The Rising Sun graphic was pretty popular at that time, with a few Charvel's and Jackson's getting the treatment.

It is a fantastic banner. I'm sure, deep down, that Vinnie loves it too.

You are correct. How easily I have forgotten. And to think, I just looked at a photo of Vinnie with that shirt on.
