I've just found out that our very own Onefinger, Yukihiro Omura passed away in March.

He was really nice and if you've followed his exploits, a very tasty guitar player.

Here is his Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/onefinger1691/videos

So sad. He was a good guy and a great player. Always used to talk down his skills but he was in fact a pretty talented mofo. Knew his way around gear and home recording and his recordings always sounded good. Some of the Vinnie stuff was done over 10 years ago and sounds great.

Good for a chat on Messenger when you'd be online at the same time, too.

Another Les Paul devotee who passed in March. Just like Paul Kossoff and Randy Rhoads.

R.I.P. Yuki. You were one of the good ones.

Yes, shocking! I briefly conversed with Pat and he apparently didn't know until Andrew told him. So sad and I wonder about the cause of death as he was not old. He was an exceptional talent and will be greatly missed by those who got the pleasure to speak to him and listen to his playing
