Meet Gypsy...

Once my new studio was built, I had planned to adopt a cat to be a studio cat and name him Vinnie.

I just got back from a three week trip to Mississippi and while there, we rescued a cat (actually the second time we have rescued a cat while in Mississippi). She is adorable, and will be my studio cat. Since Vinnie isn't the best name for a gal, I named her Gypsy in tribute to Vinnie and my favorite song by him.

With deep sadness, yesterday we had to put our cat Peter to sleep. He was only 2-1/2 years old and was a beautiful dark gray cat who was named after Peter Criss. He had bobcat fever.

Anyway, here is the lovely Gypsy.

Thanks. It was new to us, too. Seems to be hitting Middle Tennessee really bad. Unfortunately, no matter what tick medicine you use, it does not prevent a tick bite.

I have to go out of town again in October, but before I leave, I will try and post a couple of pictures of Peter.
