Queensland floods

Post by Skwint »

Cruisin' downtown, Shakin' her love, Is that babe talkin' to me, Felt my heart drop, Women can't stop, Girl has got me on my knees, Baby baby babe don't make me wonder, Won't you let me in, She said - see you later, Shot down, I'll be back again

Oh heck yeah. You should have seen the news tonight. Ironically, aside from Qld (and much of Australia) having gone through massive drought, this is the time of year we are usually in the news for out of control bush fires.

Last year Victoria had devastating and stupidly man started bush fires. This year we've got floods. Where does it end?

I was in Brisbane for one night almost a month ago for Bon Jovi, we stayed right by the river and it was all very nice. Fast forward a month and it's a very different story. I can't believe it. It just keeps getting worse.

I got Jesus in my fax machine. I saw Ho Chi Minh down @ Burger King. I dated Vinnie Vincent as a Drag Queen. I still don't understand a f**kin' thing.
I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum.

Yeah, best of to anyone near them! I'm lucky, apart from a cyclone on Christmas Day, things are pretty uneventful up my way! We're lucky, we can handle a lot more rain yet! The water table is still pretty low, relatively speaking. I know the water table is high when my truck service pit starts to fill up!!!!

Yeah, it's been terrible with people dying. Here in Canberra it's been a lovely, sunny weekend. :(

Yeah Gravi, hope you and your family & friends are ok. It's a lot worse in Brazil than the here in Australia.

Thanks. Yeah, we're okay. I think that the main problem is on other states.
