Just got operated on today Friday 28/8/15 and will hopefully be feeling better (though sore) on the 29th, which happens to be his 55th Bday!
I hope he gets the all clear and the mass was an easy removal. At worst, I hope he'll only have to wear "a bag" for a few months before getting put back together. But like I said, hopefully it's an easy removal and he gets to be bag free.

Apparently he's still not in good shape and has cancelled his European tour now as well.
