this movie is kind of interesting.
apparently there are 2 versions: 1) the 1976 original (135 minutes), lengthier and with more nightclub scenes, and 2) the 1978 re-edit (108 minutes), streamlined, re-arranged, and with less nightclub scenes.
i must have seen the original, 135-minute version. while watching, i remember going back and forth between 'this sux' and 'this is kind of cool'. if nothing else, it's definitely original.
it's more or less about a 'burlesque club' owner in the 1970s; and a big part of it revolves around his dealings with the mob.
anyway, if you like quirky cinema, this might be worth dialing in. ...especially if you're nostalgic for the 1970s.
