Vinnie Guitar Fans,

I want to hear what other guitarists who are into Vinnie Vincent are playing. Telling a guitar teacher you want to learn Vinnie Vincent licks hasn't gotten me anywhere. Nobody I've met takes it seriously. I think it's because Vinnie Vincent sounds like the name of a kid cartoon villain or something....you know, like Dick Dastardly, Lex Luthor, etc...

So...forget those A-holes!! Maybe we can pick up some licks from each other!

Glad you guys enjoyed the Ace-fest! Thanks! I think I memorized about 50 of his solos. The hardest for me (and simplest) is the solo on 100,000 years! Those 2 notes....done on 2 strings, fast ...that kills me! Makin Love, Calling Dr Love..those are a blast to play. Love Gun's pentatonic run along with Ozone are a challenge....Ace was really good on those tunes.

I did not realize there was already a video thread up...we can make this one more Vinnie/instructional, perhaps.

I fully intend to Learn one or two of those REH Vinnie licks and post 'em once I get them down. Time to take it in a new direction!

If anybody else can show how to play Vinnie's stuff....post it!
