Guitars Good drugs Bad... That's the problem with addiction and a crap load of money its a long time before they see bottom. They can piss away family, friends, kids, career, but they all go, well I still got money so fuck'em I am fine. Most don't make it till the money's gone, and if they do the damage is so wicked bad they don't last long after that.

I think the worst thing is they will make her out to be saint now, and blame it on someone else. They did the same thing with Michael Jackson and most every other star or music icon. They need to say this person was a good person but they chose addiction over every thing else in their life and this is what happened. They would do more good and might save lives with the truth than sugar coating it, and blaming some one else. Every one knows what she was doing, but they will blame Bobby Brown for it instead of holding her responsible for her own addiction.

Sorry for the rant, its just to close to home and the people I try and work with.

I agree with Rick actually. A few years ago Whitney was described as street trash who made it big. Guess they were right! She had a great set of pipes and threw it all away. At least she wasn't a "kiddie fiddler" though.

Yeah anybody dying is sad but I don't really feel sorry for rich celebrities overdosing... they were fortunate enough to get what they wanted outta life then when it happens they fuck it all away. Addiction sucks but no one else is to blame except the person who didn't know what to do with all that money but stick it in their veins, snort it, smoke it, drink it, etc.

Since, it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message, crucial really. And it's beautifully stated on the album.
