Love the pork Wolfgang 8) . Same with the Exige

I currently have a VW Corrado VR6 Storm, previously also had a Corrado 16v but sold it as I couldn't justify having 2!

The Storm is on the left, 1 of 500 made in the world (250 green/250 blue). It's a 2.9 12v VR6 engine with a rechip and ramair induction filter. It was dyno'd at 213bhp/201 lb/ft torque so very small compared to American cars! Although it weighs around 1100kgs and can do 0-60 is around 6.4s which isn't too bad for a 16year old motor.

The right one was my old 16v. Started as a 1.8l, the cambelt snapped on that so I replaced it with a 2.0 16v using different cams, lightened flywheel, knife-edged crank and uprated clutch. Also lowered it and put some fancy wheels on...really miss that car despite it being a bit gutless at low revs - also the beauty of it, as you had to really thrash it to get it moving 8)

Sorry for all the pics!

Nice cars Slayer! Love the Vette. What 0-60 do you have for that one? Any problems
with traction "off the line" so to speak?
Also, is having lottsa performace stickers on a muscle car dorky or cool? opinions please...

I have 1 silly sticker right now on the 1990 Mustang GT you can see earlier in page but
thinking of adding more, like all the junk that going on the car, like Edelbrock, CompCams
etc etc. "the usual suspects" brands for Amercan Speed Parts.

Rock On!

I don't have the 0 - 60 Stats Possio but this is what I can tell you. I don't have the ZO6 so the 2004 Corvette is rated at 350 HP and the 1999 Trans Am at 305 HP. I have never noticed any issues with traction off the line with either and at times I still drive them hard.

Happy Easter Every One!

That is true actually! James May from the Top Gear show is always trying to promote them!!!!! The show actually bought him a new or near new one..... then had it crushed or run over by a truck (I can't remember which)!!!!

The wartburg 1.3 is a dream for me. I had the 2 stroke and you had to mix oil with the gasoline or it wouldn't get up hills. I like the wagon version the best.
The early 80s autobianchi is also a dream.

How did you guess...You don't get much from VV for a billion dollars these days. Remember it's his favorite matchbox car. His staff went to a lot of trouble to find that in his huge warehouse.

Well, last year my mate at works dad bought one. On his way back from Melbourne he dropped past and took a few of us for a spin, which was cool!

Then the other week I got wind he had purchased this baby:

Image

A Shelby GT500KR (King Of The Road) Mustang!! He imported it, had it converted for RHD and then did 40K of upgrades to supercharger, exhaust, wheels, breakes etc!

So on Sunday I was asked if I wanted to come out and see it, which I did!!!

I figured he would take me for a spin, which he did, and it was awesome!!

Then he threw the two of us the keys to the GTR and said to "take it away", which we did!!

Fantastic driving that car, the speed is incredible and just creeps up on you so quick, you can't tell how fast you're going. Doing the speed limit is like standing still.

I want to do it again!!!!
