Just discovered this one. Pretty cool NWOBHM inspired stuff out of Sweden. Kinda sounds like Paul Di'anno singing for Thin Lizzy.

I honestly didn't like the way it looked or what the title implied, so there's no way in hell I would've preordered anything without a description. Guess I just have to keep living with the Guitars From Hell boot I have. At least I cleaned up the mix so it sounds better than some that are out there.

Never heard the song "Back for the Attack" before, so thanks for that. Love the album by that name though! The song sounded more it belonged on "Under Lock & Key" to my ears. I get what he's saying, but I doubt the new characters contributed as much to the decline of the band as he implies here. Had more to do with Dynasty, Unmasked and Music From The Elder.

I'm the same as you VVW82. He had some nice licks but I didn't like the music. Yeah, there's some decent songs on "Cowboys" but that's about it. Nothing I would ever have the urge to spin though. Kulick sounded and played poorly. Asylum and crazy nights had some great bk moments. Surely bk was either not playing on hits or was heavily controlled or just off form for some reason. I'm not really one for a lot of 80's ballad's, they beat the formula into the ground with a sledge by 1991 or so and they got progressively more boring and predictable. Anyway, of the two I would have to pick Reason To Live. Mostly for Kulick's guitar work. Which by the way he had some great moments...

Brad Gillis, he was great on the Speak Of The Devil tour. Too bad he never got to record a studio album with Ozzy, great guitar player. Best guitarist he had after Diary is without a doubt Jake E. Lee though.
