Re: Wolfi RR Build
What I was thinking was that I would make the guitar look as close as possible to the real one and for some reason I got it in my mind that the trem was a Floyd. Anyway the trem is coming in next week and it's black like the rest of the hardware. I can put an AZG on the back of the headstock and sig...

Just got word yesterday that the trem is on the way. In the mean time I'm having a Jackson logo made for the headstock. Today I'm putting the black base coat on and will be taking photos of this operation to post here.

My first price suggestion was 4K - 5K but Vinnie had $$$ in his mind. Final pricing was all VV.
If by some miracle he actually sells any of them, needless to say that I know I will never see any of it.

taking photos too and posting them here.

Thanks Mickey. And remember too the big guitar companies now build almost everything if not all of the guitar parts by computer machinery. I'm quite a bit more old style in my building. Re: Wolfi RR Build
Actually Vic I kind of enjoy doing this as it's the last step before priming and painting. It's only really Mahogany with such an open grain that requires this step. This water based filler is much easier to work with and is much better than an oil based variety that I used to use. This grain filler...

I did get the tone cavity milled out too but I took the photo before hand.

Also with gold fret wire and gold Mother of Pearl inlays. Kind of like Vinnie #4 at 2011 NAMM.

We're actually in the High Desert at about 3,600 ft. We've had the property here since 2005 and been here full time since 2007.
