Re: Section for Vinnie covers and adaptations ?

Okay, here comes my 2nd contribution to this thread. My 1st being the video playing along with B.O.T.S a little higher up in the thread. Uncle Kev, was kind of looking for more of a "Introduce ourselves" and "how to" type feel to go along with the playing. So that's what I attempted. This is the 1st...

No reverb or other effects , overdrive and clean channels , low, mid, high eq....
that's it, that's all she's got. There is an out on the front to pipe the amp into another speaker, why any one would want to is beyond my comprehension.

LOL with Fred! That really is a wah inverse setting on that little Crate. Freddy how about a stripped down version like this of Let Freedom Rock? Thanks Vic,thanks Shram.. ..The guitar plays pretty well. It has some aspects that I like and some that I don't. It's a flat mounted Floyd, so no pulling up, that's why I didn't use the bar for any of the bends or vibrato, it is a shorter scale 24 3/4, I never thought I would be able to tell that mu...

I am sure everyone already realizes this, but the audio and video on that link doesn't match.
The audio is one of Vinnie's solo's from a Lick it Up show and not a solo from the Creatures tour.

Yes, when Paul was dating Sam Fox!!!!!! See I am old! I'd forgotten that! And now she's gay!!!!! Yes, it's a little odd huh ? The 4th person in the photo looks like Billy Squire who was also rumored to at least be a "switch hitter". There were also rumors about Tyson and of course Paul as well.

I personally am a big fan of Jeff's. I think he is a great vocalist and he is versatile. It's just that he is a full voice singer and not a falsetto kinda guy. Robert and Mark are almost all falsetto. So in that way, I agree that JSS is not suited for VVI or Vinnie's music as long as Vinnie wanted t...

Great posts from everyone.... For myself the hybrid picking / chicken picking is probably the biggest stumbling block in learning Vinnie's solo's... You can either replicate it or you can't.
