the origin of "Genesis" instrumental...
I finally cracked it..zapping round the TV channels this easter holiday, heard this in the background in one of the Bible-movies showing. "Epilogue" is the one part with the most borrowed thenes/lines. So, "Genesis" is not an original composition, it is a reworked version of: Miklós Rózsa - King of ...

ashes to ashes solo is a "2 5 1 jazz progression" / ii-V-I turnaround, very common, songs like "Misty" bla bla bla all have it... Yes, GeneB, I remember I also had a cassette of said stereo recording of that show but it had a much fatter
sound to it "more reverb" (production) than what appeared in the actual VHS.?
Was that show I had on tape a Radio/MTV? Broadcast perhaps? Anybody in Kiss-land who knows?

What I can add to this discussion is that quite a few returns of these 2 albums, mostly the first VVI, ended up here in Europe as "cut outs".. not that it makes the album any less important to me, but it is not a "commercial" album by most peoples standard.. Those 2 Treasure shows sound great, though, they are not downloadable as far as I know.
