What was "guitarman"? Across the street from "we buy guitars" was "48th street custom" is all I can remember, and legendary "Mannys", naturally.. 48 st cusom was an ESP dealer/builder, they did alot of Kiss-Bruces guitars and had a nice set of Vintage stuff too. IT S ALL "Sam Trash" now...for better...

Yes, GeneB, I remember I also had a cassette of said stereo recording of that show but it had a much fatter
sound to it "more reverb" (production) than what appeared in the actual VHS.?
Was that show I had on tape a Radio/MTV? Broadcast perhaps? Anybody in Kiss-land who knows?

Yup, what Im saying is, from a "let get rich now" type career move, perhaps Stockholm, Sweden is not going to change much, But, there are lotsa good musicians around who really still are into Metal/Progressive Hard rock who would be willing to help out (cheap) or for free, to get some of Vs music on...

what is interesting is that we had a Swedish Pressing of the VVI album here first, done by whoever handled Chrysalis back then?, the actual album-cover was actually nicer in Swe version, stronger colors and more glossy. Then a few years later I started seeing the US version as cut-outs at some bagai...

What I can add to this discussion is that quite a few returns of these 2 albums, mostly the first VVI, ended up here in Europe as "cut outs".. not that it makes the album any less important to me, but it is not a "commercial" album by most peoples standard.. I guess V still had (some) hair, just not big and thick enough for a glam-metal band in the eighties. I remember the times, I had hair, but too fine a strands to grow that "Mega-Mane" you had to have too be cool enough to fit into the mold back then...and be marketable,...very important...just my 2 ...

Duncan "Custom" and "Custom-Custom" I would say fall within the PAF´s category. Duncan JB and Distortion are hotter pickups with somewhat less definition, less of a "PAF".. in my opinion anyway... Who knows what was used...Duncan 59 is too weak for hard rock, better for blues. Ive had them all. haha...

I saw Rundgren solo with and Electric Fender Tele (and an Ipad! thru the PA) here in Stockholm last year. When he was on the guitar it was brilliant! great vocal delivery, when he sat down at the house Grand Piano to do ballads (like "Hello its me" etc) it was plain awful...Couldnt remember the chor...

Sounds to me like they upgraded the bit-rate for the streams on that site.
Those 2 Treasure shows sound great, though, they are not downloadable as far as I know.
