Maybe Vinnie's just making light of the fact that Gene had his nose out of joint at the fact that Vinnie's moving forward with his own career and signature model guitar and Gene couldn't face it... If it's true I think it's a classic.. More power to Vinnie I say!

I think Vinnie's referring to Gene Simmons who was supposed to represent for Cort Guitars (Axe Bass)

This may also explain why Vin didn't attend Namm... Best to avoid potential conflict with Kiss members.. Gene and Paul are usually at Namm but both were strangely absent this year
