Re: My BSG Boogie Bolt 2
I never was really attracted to pointy shaped guitars but the quality and detail of this guitar intrigued me enough to search for one and buy it. It is a big long guitar, easy to hit things by accident, although luckily there are currently no dings. https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/h...

Re: Looking for a new amp - Which would you go for?
Not amps you mentioned but I bought a Marshall JVM 410c, a really cool amp that I believe Marshall copied some ideas from Mesa Boogie. 4 channels each with three modes (green, orange and red) each channel and mode can be preset with FX loop, Reverb and one of two master volumes. Add midi control and...

Re: rik fox claims vv look
Exactly right, Rik is a huge Angel fan and copied the image of bassist Mick Jones (R.I.P.) and Punky Meadows.
I think the music stealing is more serious.

Re: rik fox claims vv look
I have nothing against you KMA, just didn't like how you quoted my post and replied stating "who cares?" as if anything I stated had no point or worth. It is fact not fiction and some may not care at all that Vinnie Vincent boosted more than an image from Rik Fox. I write songs and I've had rival ba...

Re: Great bands that are underknown and highly rated!
XYZ, These guys were early users of Steinberger GM series guitars with transtrem II. the different tunings you can have are:
B, C, D [E] F#, G
I recent bought a Steinberger GM4TA and totally dig the transposing or bending chords in pitch

Russel Allen can sound exactly like Ronnie James Dio (RIP)
I seen them live but didn't really know much of their material.

Great bands that are underknown and highly rated!
Hoping we can share some of our favorite bands that are highly rated yet not well known. Angel - USA Glam metal from the '70s. I got into this band shortly after getting into Kiss. Circus Maximus - Norwegian prog metal (If you like Dream Theater these guys are awesome) Crimson Glory - USA pioneers o...

Yeah I heard about that intro to "Ashes to Ashes" was the vocals of a bands song Dana was producing, they reversed their tape to have the backwards "Oh the Zero men"

Re: rik fox claims vv look
First I believe Rik Fox. I listened to the Sin demo that Dana Strum engineered called "On The Run" VV heard the song , liked it and stole the main riff for "Let Freedom Rock" Later on VV copied Rik Fox's image.

Just found this great vv.com!
Hi, I was registered at other VV forums (Pyro messiah) that disappeared over time. Want to compliment whoever put together this unofficial VV website, vast amounts of rarity snippets and some audio interviews I'm giving a listen to right now. I consider myself a hard core Vinnie Vincent fan, I play ...
